“I am in love with Annika Skoglund”… Skoglund is just so vulnerable, so full of emotion, so intense”… that I was entranced and hooked from her first syllables. The rest of the band supplies more than support, with Holmstrom’s soft and sweet tenor, Kotter’s plaintive piano, and Jansson’s and Carlsson’s sympathetic rhythmic support. All the music was written and arranged by Jansson (except “My Mans Gone”)… because it is all beautiful, heartfelt and honest, and that which would entrance a live audience. Recommended”.
